Hunt Valley -- BreakAway featured "Incident Commander," at the Games for Health Conference, which took place September 22-23 in Baltimore. The game is a PC-based training simulation designed to help healthcare professionals and public safety personnel respond to a wide range of emergency situations - from acts of terrorism to school hostage situations and natural disasters. Incident Commander allows users to run actual crisis management scenarios in real time, complete with realistic time delays and realistic resource limitations. Incident Commander was developed in conjunction with the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) who is distributing the game free of charge to more than 30,000 city, county, and state public safety agencies nationwide.
